I always enjoy a good year end roundup and I find the backend stats really interesting too, although there are some stats I do wish Substack had. I also really like that What to Cook Cookbook :)
The one type of stat I couldn't find was the links people clicked on without going post by post. I saw a very prolific substacker report the top links WITHIN her posts over the year and she must have had an assignment go through each one to get that data then compare all the links over the year.
I also saw some substackers report most clicked links although I think they were reporting on affiliate links so were seeing it on the affiliate site. But I would love to see a list of most clicked all together.
One stat I would like to see is percentage read on each post/email although maybe they can only get this if it’s web-based. Medium shows that and it’s honestly eye opening to see where the drop off points are.
